Rs.90 lakh for road repair

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Mayor C. Jayan Babu announced here today that efforts were on to repair all the damaged roads in the city.
A press note quoting him said the repair work would be completed 15 days after the withdrawal of the monsoon.
The Corporation has identified 268 roads for repair. The city has been divided into five zones for the repair work.
The Mayor said works for Rs.90 lakh were being tendered. He added that the Corporation had already finalised the tender for works worth Rs.2.04 crore over the last three months.
Mr. Jayan Babu said the Corporation would give top priority for road repair works.
