CHENNAI: Ten persons belonging to the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam were arrested on Monday in connection with the attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party office ‘Kamalalayam’ at T.Nagar on Sunday.
The police said following a complaint received from the BJP that their party office was attacked, a case was registered. After investigations, four DMK cadres were arrested.
Similarly, in connection with the attack on the Hindu Munnani office at Chintadripet, the police arrested six persons. All the 10 were produced before a court.
The police also registered a case against Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Ram Vilas Vedanti for his alleged remarks against the DMK president.
