TIRUVANNAMALAI: The General Manager of the Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Ranipet, C.S. Rao, unveiled a portrait of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvarayya, father of industrialisation, and paid tributes to his engineering skills and contribution to the development of the erstwhile Mysore State.
Mr. Rao was participating in celebrations organised by The Institution of Engineers (India)-Ranipet Local Centre at Arunai Engineering College (AEC) here recently to mark Engineers’ Day. V.J. Chandrasekharan, Principal of AEC, explained how various disciplines of engineering coordinate with each other forming a synergy, leading to rapid technological development in every aspect concerning life.
