Tributes paid to Devi Lal

HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam party president N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday paid rich tributes to former Deputy Prime Minister Devi Lal. Participating in Devi Lal’s birth anniversary celebrations in Ambala, Mr. Naidu recalled his contribution to the nation. He said he had accompanied former Chief Minister N. T. Rama Rao during the campaign for Devi Lal in Haryana Assembly elections in 1997. Both Devi Lal and NTR played key role in formation of anti-Congress national front, he added. –Special Correspondent
