Value added coconut products launched

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Agro Industries Corporation has launched two value-added products in the market as part of its diversification programme.

The products, Coco Crispy and Coconut Vinegar, were formally launched by Minister for Agriculture Mullakkara Ratnakaran at a function organised here on Tuesday. Addressing the function, the Minister said the new venture would act as a catalyst to revive the market for coconut products and give a boost to farmers. The project was taken up with technical assistance from the Coconut Development Board.
