NEW DELHI: A goal each by F.L. Mawlot and L. Pahwa helped Om Roy HSS, Shillong, to a 2-0 victory over Government Co-Educational School, Tikri, in a quarterfinal match of the Subroto Cup junior football tournament at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Tuesday.
In the league, Hmar Veng HS, Mizoram, defeated Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa HSS, Jabalpur, 3-0, following goals by F. Zohmingthanga (2) and Simon Lalruatkima.
Sports Authority of India, Ahmedabad, defeated Government Senior Secondary School, Lapathy, Car Nicobar, 7-0. Y. Radhan (2), Paresh, Willington, Sanjay Negi, Lakhman and Dimalu scored.
