Woman found murdered

NEW DELHI: A 23-year-old woman was found murdered at her Najafdarh residence here on Monday. The police suspect involvement of her husband.

According to the police, Sunita’s body was found with her throat slit by one of her neighbours around 5-15 p.m. on Monday. Enquiries revealed that her husband Bhupender, a Central Reserve Police Force constable posted in Jammu and Kashmir, had recently come here on leave. He used to have frequent altercations with Sunita as he suspected her of having an extramarital affair.

The police have registered a case of murder and launched a hunt for Bhupender who is missing.
