Another laddu fetches 6.5 lakh

HYDERABAD: Another ‘Ganesh laddu’ fetched Rs.6.5 lakh during an auction at a pandal in Badangpet on Tuesday.

Three brothers -- P. Sudershan Reddy, P. Venkat Reddy and P. Sama Reddy -- bid for it and took the gigantic laddu in the name of their mother P. Parvathamma.The family had also successfully bid the ‘laddu’ for Rs.6.25 lakh in 2006 and for Rs.1.15 lakh in 2005.
