Robbers arrested

NEW DELHI: Three robbers have been arrested following an encounter with the Crime Branch of the Delhi police at Hauz Khas here. Two firearms were seized from them, the police said.

The accused have been identified as Raju Beniwal, Ravinder and Raja Sukhdev. According to the police, they were involved in over 36 criminal cases including highway robberies and attempt-to-murder.

During interrogation, they purportedly disclosed that they were planning to target some showrooms in Gurgaon.
