TIRUTTANI: The Indian Bank will install an automated teller machine at the Tiruttani railway station soon, Union Minister R.Velu has said. He was talking to reporters here on Friday. The Minister said the move would benefit devotees visiting the town. Every day, tickets worth Rs.1 lakh were issued here and advance reservation to the tune of Rs. 30,000 made on an average. A sum of nearly Rs. 42 lakh was spent this year to improve basic amenities at the station. Construction of waiting rooms, train information centre and other infrastructure facilities would be taken up soon, he added.
