Saketh and Ravi Teja shine

HYDERABAD: An all-round show by Saketh (six for 18 and 53) for St. Dominic School and a fine spell by medium-pacer T. Ravi Teja (six for nine) for St. Andrews School ‘B’ in different matches were the highlights of the HCA Schools league cricket championship here.

The scores:

Schools league: Bhegas HS 192 (Y. Gaurav Saudagar 53, M. Ravi Kiran 34, Rama Krishna three for 29) bt Mahbub College HS 36 (Nasrool Haque five for 12).

St. Andrews ‘B’ 274 for five (B. Anirudh 42, Sresht Dasaradhi 63, Faraz 48) bt MGM School 36 (Ravi Teja six for nine).

All Saint’s HS ‘B’ 272 for six (Tanmay 64, Santosh 59, Vipul 42, Prabhu 34) bt Obul Reddy PS 74 (Rahul three for 13).

St. Faiz HS 158 (Zakir Hussain 52, Saketh six for 18) lost to St. Dominic 159 for nine (Saketh 53, Bosi five for 35).

Don Bosco HS 128 (Anthony 47, Prince Ojha four for 25, Bargav Rayudu four for 15) lost to Bhavan’s 132 for no loss (Rohit Rayudu 61 not out, Bhargav Rayudu 59 not out).

Navayuga Team wins

Navayuga Engineering team of P.B.G. Tilak, M.D. Chowdary, G. Veerabadhra Rao, K. Srinvias and Y. Nageswara Rao won the team of four duplicate event for the Bhamidipati Satyanarayana Murthy Shashtipurthi Gold Cup rolling Trophy in the 25th Gold Cup Open bridge tournament in Kakinada, according to information received here.
