Punjab in final

HYDERABAD: Punjab will take on Sports Authority of India (West) in the final of the 30th junior National handball championship for boys in Kurnool on Wednesday, according to information received here.

In the semifinals on Tuesday, Punjab defeated Jharkhand 20-18, while SAI (West) got the better of Andhra Pradesh 30-21.

Super league: SAI (West) bt National Handball Academy 30-26; AP bt Manipur 26-19; Punjab bt AP 19-17; Jharkhand bt J & K 39-14.
