Darfur crisis: a view from the inside
Jan Pronk, senior Dutch politician and statesman who is a Professor at the Institute of Social Studies, The Hague, was head of the U.N. Mission in Sudan. He had to leave the mission and Sudan following his differences with the regime in power in Khar toum in January 2007.
