Krishnagiri: District Election Officer and Collector Santhosh Babu on Wednesday published the final photo electoral rolls for the Assembly constituencies of Hosur, Thally, Kaveripattinam, Krishnagiri and Bargur. The rolls were published after making inclusions in the draft photo electoral rolls published in the district on May 25.
Mr. Babu told reporters that the final draft would be displayed at the Collectorate, offices of Revenue Divisional Officers, electoral registration officers (ERO) and assistant EROs, panchayat union offices, municipalities, offices of the village administrative officers, polling booths and post offices in Hosur, Thally, Kaveripattinam, Krishnagiri and Bargur for verification.
The total number of voters in the final electoral roll is 8,77,127 including 4,46,512 men and 4,30,615 women voters.
A total of 20,137 voters including 4,893 in Hosur, 6,632 in Thally, 2,340 in Kaveripattinam, 4,363 in Krishnagiri and 1909 in Bargur were included in the final rolls.
The rolls would be available at 478 designated photographing locations in the district. The Collector appealed to voters to hand over two passport size colour photos to the election officials to include their photos in the list. District Revenue Officer V. Mohanraj, Revenue Divisional Officer Prakasam were present.
