Leh: Several thousand people staged a protest here on Wednesday against alleged poor service being provided by the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited to its subscribers. The slogan-shouting protestors began their march from Lal Chowk, passed through the main markets of the city, deputy commissioner’s office, old bus stand, culminating at the BSNL office near new bus stand. They also pelted stones and burnt the effigy of the chief general manager.
