Belgaum: The two-day Karnatak University Inter-Collegiate Belgaum Zone Youth Festival “Sugandha 2007” took off on an enthusiastic note at the Karnatak Law Society’s Gogte College of Commerce here on Wednesday. H.M. Maheshwarayya, director, Student Welfare Department, Karnatak University, Dharwad, who inaugurated the festival by lighting the traditional lamp, said that such events provided a unique platform for the students to exhibit their talents in the field of performing arts. He called upon the youth to strive to achieve success in life. Those present included KLS president S.M. Kulkarni and college principal A.B. Kalkundrikar.
