AISF seeks new policy

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State committee of the All India Students’ Federation (AISF) has urged the State government to come out with a new education policy.

AISF State president R. Sajilal and secretary Arun K. S. told a news conference here on Wednesday that the government had not succeeded in coming out with an education policy even a year and a half after assuming office. They alleged that this had resulted in a serious crisis in the education scene. Several of the reforms being implemented in the education sector lacked clarity and many were against the policies of the LDF, they added.
