ANANTAPUR: Sliding awareness on the environment among people and the increasing usage of energy resources was adding to the global warming phenomenon, Principal of JNTU College of Engineering K. Soundararajan said here on Wednesday. The environmental tendency was also having a telling impact on the life span and its quality, he felt.
Speaking at an awareness meeting on “Energy Resources – Environmental Protection” organised by the Chemical Engineering Department of the college here Mr. K. Soundararajan said the environmental degradation was highly concerning issue and any effort to improve awareness among people should be encouraged.
