Harsha, Akshay hog limelight

Mysore: Wicket-keeper batsman Harsha Kumar Naidu (79, 9x4s, 2x6s) and middle-order bat Akshay (62, 3x4s, 1x6s) helped St. Philomena’s FGC (Mysore) register a five-wicket win over Post Graduate Sports Council (Manasagangothri) in the final of the Chamundi Zone Mysore University inter-collegiate cricket tourney at the Maharaja’s College grounds here on Wednesday.

The scores:

PG Sports Council 186 in 38 overs (M.N. Manjesh Reddy 64, H.R. Cheluvaraj four for 34) lost to St. Philomena’s FGC 190 for five in 30 overs (Harsha Kumar Naidu 79, Akshay 62).
