NEW DELHI: Sachdeva Public School edged out last year’s runner-up Modern School, Barakhamba Road, 64-62 in the semifinals of the senior boys section in the 18th Hansraj Prabhakar emorial basketball tournament at the Oxford School courts, E-Block, Vikaspuri, here. The results (semifinals): Senior boys: Mont Fort School 79 (Vikram 26, Anmol 19) beat St. Michael’s School 45 (Deepanshu 16, Nikhil 10). Sachdeva Public School 64 (Ashish 16, Kunwar 13, Amit 11) beat Modern School, Barakhamba Road, 62 (Rishab 21, Siddhant 19). Senior girls: Mont Fort School 50 (Chinmayee 12, Sakshi 10) beat Oxford School 14. St. Xavier’s School, Shahbad, 63 (Vasudha 26, Vishakha 14, Betty 13) beat Sachdeva Public School 62 (Niharika 25, Aditi 13, Shikha 13). Under-12 boys: Oxford School 47 (Shubham Prabhakar 16, Sarvpriya Prabhakar 13, Saurabh 10) beat Sachdeva Public School 35 (Prashant 13). Venkateshwar School 15 (Neelesh 10) beat Modern School, Barakhamba Road 9. Under-12 girls: Oxford School 20 beat Vasant Valley School 12.
