Two arrested with duplicate auto lamps

NEW DELHI: Two men have been arrested at Kashmere Gate here on charges of manufacturing and selling duplicate Philips auto lamps. More than 40,000 duplicate lamps worth Rs. 5 lakh have allegedly been seized.

A raid was mounted at a shop in Minerva Cinema Lane and Pradeep Sharma (50) and Dheeraj Kumar (37) were arrested on Friday evening, the police said. During interrogation, the accused purportedly told the police that they recently took to this business to make quick money.
