Power outage

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Many parts of the city experienced a power blackout on Tuesday evening after a 110 kV line from the KSEB sub station at Pothencode snapped at a point on the compound of the sub station at Paruthippara. The incident took place at about 6.45 p.m. Supply was restored in less than an hour, officials said.
