‘RASA’ on September 29

ISKCON Bangalore is now in the midst of “RASA,” its annual inter-collegiate cultural fest, designed to stay alive till September 29. A rolling trophy will be given to the college with the highest number of prize-winning performances. There will also be awards for the top five colleges and top five lecturers in charge. The RASA fest was started in 2004 with the objective of giving an opportunity to the youth to appreciate the invaluable culture of our country and to facilitate them to exhibit their creativity and talent through competitions. There are 24 events that include drama, music concert, folk dance, flower arrangements, skit, cookery, mime, instrumental music, rangoli, vocal music, vedic quiz, painting, fusion music and extempore.

The Computer Science Department of the Oxford Educational Institutions claimed the championship at “Login,” an inter-collegiate IT fest conducted by the Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College on September 22 and 24.

Indian Service Machine, a city-based organisation, has introduced a course in “3G Technology,” arguably for the first time in the country. ISM has partnered with the Institute of Computer Science and Electronics Engineers (ICEE) to offer the programme. The first batch will begin on October 10. Those interested could contact ISM at 178-1/4, 76th cross, 6th block, Rajajinagar, (ph: 23500654 ).

The last date for admissions to MBA, MS (Finance), MS (Accountancy), MS (Insurance) and CFA programmes of the ICFAI is September 30. Students interested to enrol could contact the ICFAI branches at Infantry road (Ph: 41145980), Jayanagar (Ph: 26991202); ITPL (41158637); Rajajinagar (65613743); Marathahalli (64545930); Indiranagar (41267299); Koramangala, Electronic City, R.T. Nagar or Banashankari.
