Free pacemakers

BANGALORE: A free Indo-American workshop on angioplasty and pacemakers will be held at Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology from October 1 to 6 where pacemaker implantations and angioplasty with stent procedures will be done. Govindaraju Subramani from the U.S. will sponsor 10 pacemakers at a cost of Rs. 1.25 lakh each and 10 stents at Rs. 50,000 each for poor patients.
