VHP condemns attacks on processions

HYDERABAD: Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Andhra Pradesh Paschim, on Wednesday condemned the attacks on the processions taken out to celebrate the Indian cricket team’s victory against Pakistan, at Tandur and Vikarabad in Ranga Reddy district and Kurnool on Tuesday.

“These attacks by supporters of Pakistan amount to anti-national activities,” the Parishad general secretary Ch. Laxmicharyulu said in a press release.

Protesting against the failure of the Government to prevent the attacks, he demanded that the persons responsible for the attacks should be arrested immediately.
