Kaushal and Sanjana move up

Coimbatore: Kaushal Mehta of Maharashtra and Sanjana M. Kumar of Tamil Nadu made short work of their opponents to enter both the under-14 and 16 boys’ and girls’ singles semifinals in the CDTA-AITA Talent Series tennis tournament at the CDTA Tennis Centre here on Wednesday.

The results (quarterfinals):

Boys: U-14: Kaushal Mehta (Mah) bt C. Madan Mohan (TN) 6-2, 6-2, R. Harish (TN) bt Praveen Raj (TN) 6-3, 6-4, S.A. Venkatesh Krishna (TN) bt R. Sanjeev (TN) 6-1, 6-1, Monish Rajer (TN) bt Subash Kaushik (TN) 6-2, 6-4.
