CHENNAI: Kumararani Meena Muttiah College of Arts and Science (KMMCAS) defeated Alpha Arts & Science College in a cricket match, part of the Kumararaja Muttiah memorial inter-collegiate tournaments.

The scores: KMMC 182 for four in 25 overs (Rupendran 66, Prashanth 42) bt Alpha 53 in 14 overs (Raj Mohan four for 13).
