Staff strike hits SBT services

KANNUR: The functioning of State Bank of Travancore (SBT) branches in the district was hit on Thursday by the nation-wide strike by employees of associate banks of the State Bank of India (SBI) in protest against the move to merge the associate banks with the SBI.

The strike was called by the State Sector Bank Employees Association.
