Farmer shot

ATTUR: A 35-year old farmer was injured when another farmer reportedly shot him with a country made gun in Talavasal near here on Wednesday.
Police said that two group of persons entered into a clash over a land dispute in Mani Vilunthan village.
A farmer Arjunan (65) allegedly took his country made gun and fired. Murugan, who was severely injured, was rushed to Attur Government Hospital.
His relative Rajammal was also injured in the clash and admitted in the hospital. Police seized the gun and arrested Arjunan.
A case was registered.
