PERAMBALUR: A special ‘loan mela’ will be held at the Collectorate in Perambalur on October 13 to process the educational loan applications and sanction loans to students pursuing higher education.
The branch managers of all major banks in the district will participate in the ‘mela’ which will commence at 10 a.m. and process the applications, the Collector Anil Meshram said here. Presiding over the farmers’ grievance day meeting held here on Thursday, the Collector said that students should bring the necessary certificates.
The Collector also said that the Public Works Department has expedited action for the discharge of waters in Ponnar.
