Lynching case: CJM declines to issue warrants
Special Correspondent
PATNA: Terming the request of the CID baseless, the Hajipur Chief Judicial Magistrate has declined to issue non-bailable arrest warrants against 10 of those it accused of lynching 10 persons at Delhpurwa village in Vaishali district on September 13.
CJM Anil Kumar Singh turned down the plea saying that the evidence provided was not sufficient to warrant their arrest in the case. The CID claimed that the 10 persons it named were on guard duty in the village on the day the tribals were lynched.
