Salem Steel Plant gets OHSAS 18001

CHENNAI: Salem Steel Plant has been awarded with the OHSAS 18001:1999 certificate by TUV NORD, Germany, for the implementation of occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS) at its plant in Salem, Tamil Nadu. The certificate was received by P. M. Balasubramanian, Executive Director, Salem Steel Plant, from N. Pradeep Kumar, Branch Manager, TUV-NORD, Chennai, says a release. — Corporate Reporter
