Nitten Kirrtane progresses

NEW DELHI: Former National champion Nitten Kirrtane reached the third round of the qualifying event in the men’s section of the DSCL National tennis championship at the DLTA Complex here on Thursday.

The 33-year-old left-hander dropped only one game in winning his two rounds in the best-of-17-games format. Nitten was joined by some of the other prominent names like, Vijay Sundar Prashanth, Shivang Mishra, Nishank Mishra, Ajai Selvaraj, Gurmehar Singh, Rahil Makharia, Rohan Gide, Christopher Marquis and Prateek Bhambri. — Special Correspondent
