Irregularities in housing scheme alleged

Srikakulam: Senior CPI(M) leaders, Bendi Tulasi Das and Panchadi Papa Rao on Thursday alleged large scale irregularities in the selection of beneficiaries for housing under Indiramma programme. Speaking to media persons at the party office here, Mr.Tulasi Das alleged that ineligible persons had been sanctioned houses and only two percent of the sanctioned houses had reached the stage of completion.

According to these leaders there were instances where wife and husband had been sanctioned houses separately.

These were the findings of the survey conducted by the party, the CPI(M) leaders said.-
