KWA, consortium to work out a solution for pipe bursts

Special Correspondent

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A joint team of Kerala Water Authority (KWA), the Kerala Sustainable Urban Development Project (KSUDP) and the consortium of companies that executed the Theerapadam Water Supply Scheme will look into the bursting of the pipelines laid under the scheme and suggest a solution for solving the problem. A decision to that effect was taken at a meeting of the representatives of these three agencies held here on Wednesday.

The meeting followed the submission of a report on the bursting of pipes laid under the scheme to Water Resources Minister N.K.Premachandran by the Water Authority.

The Minister asked the companies that had agreements with the KSUDP to complete the work expeditiously with least inconvenience to the people.
