Notices served on MRO, MDO

GUNTUR: District Collector Mohammad Ali Rafath on Thursday served show cause notices on Kakumanu Mandal Revenue Officer and Mandal Development Officers, Indira Devi and Kameswaramma respectively on charges of dereliction of duty in conducting the ‘Indiramma Sambaralu’ meeting at Kakumanu on September 24.

The Collector initiated disciplinary action against the two, following allegations that the they conducted the ‘Indiramma sambaralu programme’ on Monday, two days ahead of the schedule, without informing the Ministers representing the district.

TDP MLA of Ponnur D. Narendra Kumar took part in the programme and gave away pensions and house possession certificates.
