PERAMBALUR: An 81-run eighth-wicket stand between R. Prasannanarayanan (58) and S. Omesh (26 not out) helped Combined Districts score 292 in 168.1 overs on the second day of the under-15 City-Districts return cricket match at Dalavoi on Thursday.
Earlier, R. Nilesh Subramaniam, who was unbeaten on 39 at close on Wednesday, completed his half-century.
At stumps, City was 75 for one in 28 overs. K. Bharath Shankar (25) and V. Ganga Sridhar (29) were at the crease.
The scores: Combined Districts 292 in 168.1 overs (S. Chandrasekhar 67, R. Prasannanarayanan 58, R. Nilesh Subramaniam 53, Dheer K. Bhimani 32, S. Selva three for 69, V. Jaiganesh three for 49) vs. City 75 for one in 28 overs.
