Rupee ends steady


MUMBAI: The rupee on Thursday ended barely changed 39.71/72 against the U.S. currency as it lost early gains after the Reserve Bank of India’s intervention amid exporters dollar sales and consistent capital inflows.

In active trade at the interbank foreign exchange market, the rupee moved in a wide range of 39.62 and 39.90 after resuming firm at 39.66/68 from the previous close of 39.70/71 a dollar. — PTI
