All in the family: A file picture of Venkatesh Godkhindi, his son Pravin Godkhindi and grandson Shadj Godkhindi. MANGALORE: Three generations of the Godkhindis will perform at the T.M.A. Pai Convention Centre here on Saturday. Pt. Venkatesh Godkhindi (60), his son Pravin Godkhindi (30) and grandson Shadj Godkhindi (6), all flautists, are all set to enthral the audience. The first session will see a classical performance by the trio, and it will be followed by a show by Pravin Godkhindi’s famed fusion band, Krishna. The three will perform in different parts of the State. Thereafter, the organisers are planning to take the trio’s programmes to 14 cities across the country. The VCDs and DVDs of the programme to be held here will be released on October 13, according to Sharat Vatsa, director of Aalap Events and Media Pvt. Ltd., which is organising the series of events. TicketsTickets, priced at Rs. 99, Rs. 199 and Rs. 299, for the show will be available at the venue and designated places in the city, Manipal and Udupi.
