Mainpuri: A newspaper hawker, Ravindra Kumar (16), was electrocuted after coming in contact with a live electricity wire here on Friday morning, police said. He was distributing newspapers when the mishap occurred at the Gulab-Bagh Katra crossing. He died on the spot. Later, hundreds of people resorted to traffic jam demanding Rs. 10 lakh as compensation for the victim’s family from the district administration.
