Jobs promised for Gulf-returnees

ADILABAD: Labour Minister G. Vinod on Friday assured Gulf-returnees of employment according to their aptitude and skill. He said the government would also explore the possibility of extending bank loans to them for self-employment schemes.

At the job mela organised at Nirmal for Gulf-returnees, the Minister said the government was seized of the problems being faced by the Gulf-returnees.

An estimated 6,000 persons from 15 mandals attended the job mela and eight companies accepted applications from the deportees.
