Simplified
Bangalore: The BSNL has simplified access to its post-paid Internet dial up “NetOne” service. According to a press release, the service is now pre-enabled for all BSNL landline customers. To access the Internet, users can just dial 172222. The user ID will be 80 plus eight digit landline number for Bangalore Urban and 802 plus seven digit landline number for Bangalore rural areas with any password. The user ID for existing customers will also change to 80 plus eight digit landline number (Bangalore Urban) and 802 plus seven digit landline number (Bangalore rural) instead of landline number alone with effect from October 1. Customers can call 1500 from the landline for queries. — Staff Reporter
