‘Funds will be misused if not disbursed properly’

KADAPA: Public funds to the tune of thousands of crores will be misused if ineligible persons were sanctioned pucca houses, District Collector M.T. Krishna Babu said on Friday.

The Government will construct pucca houses for every poor family under Indiramma scheme and any eligible persons left-over would be covered in due course, he said in Indiramma Samabaralu at Sambepalle in Rayachoti constituency. He ordered a resurvey of housing beneficiaries in Sambepalle, as 11,400 houses were sanctioned, as against a population of 8,800.
