Substance seized

ADILABAD: Adilabad I Town police on Thursday arrested one Gangaram Shyam Goud of Sunket village in Morthad mandal of Nizamabad district and seized from him 50 kgs of Chloral Hydrate and a scooter used by him for transporting the banned substance.

According to sources, the accused purchased two bags containing 25kgs of Chloral Hydrate each from one Sudershan Goud of Armoor for Rs. 4,000 and intended to sell it here for a profit.
