Voluntary Blood Donation Day

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh State AIDS Control Society will observe October 1 as National Voluntary Blood Donation Day. According to G. Ashok Kumar, project director of the society, it focuses on availability of sufficient quantity of safe blood in order to prevent transmission of HIV/AIDS. –Special Correspondent
