BANGALORE: Baldwin Girls’ High School, Richmond Road, organised “Rhyme Time” for children of the nursery section recently. It was the first-ever performance on stage for the tiny tots and they were ready to face the challenge. The Montgomery Hall was packed with parents and other invitees to the programme. Special Assembly Florence Public School, R.T. Nagar, celebrated the centenary of the Scouts and Guides Movement recently. A special assembly was organised. WinnersShravani, a class I student of MES KKPS, Vidyaranyapura, has brought laurels to the institution by bagging the first prize in a story-telling competition held at its main branch in Malleswaram recently. Students of classes III and IV won the second prize in the group dance competition, while Harishita of Class III won the third prize in the painting competition. Sports meetSri Jnanakshi Vidyaniketan, Rajarajeshwarinagar, held its annual sports meet recently. Industrialist K. M. Sreenivasa Murthy, the chief guest, declared the meet open.
