Rickshaw-puller killed by car

NEW DELHI: A 35-year-old rickshaw-puller was knocked down and killed by a call centre car at Geeta Colony here on Friday.

The rickshaw carrying dry-fruit boxes was hit from behind near the traffic intersection in Shastri Park around 4 a.m. Sukhram was rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead. Driver Surender has been arrested on charges of causing death due to rash and negligent driving.
