Student killed in accident

A tenth-class student was killed after a mini-bus hit him at Hayathnagar crossroads on Thursday. The police said Mohammed Isaq Gouri (15) got down from an RTC bus and was returning home when the accident occurred.

Body fished out

The police on Friday fished out the body of a youngster from a lake at Bodduppal. R. Venkatesh (18), a labourer and resident of Uppal, went to the lake to participate in the immersion of Ganesh idols. But, he slipped accidentally into the lake.
