State fails on all fronts: Kodela

Staff Reporter

VISAKHAPATNAM: Official spokesman of the Telugu Desam and former Minister Kodela Siva Prasad said that the three-year rule of the Rajasekhara Reddy Government was marked by total failure of administration, breakdown of law and order and gains to Congress leaders and contractors.

Addressing a public meeting, conducted as part of the “Vaada Vaadala Telugu Desam” programme to understand people’s problems and highlight the failures of the Congress party, at Maddilapalem here on Friday, he recalled that the Chief Minister had promised to provide drinking water to all villages in towns and irrigation facilities to each acre by taking up irrigation projects at an estimated cost of Rs. 46,000 crores. He alleged that the estimates had been increased and the contractors were forced to give a commission to the Congress leaders.
