New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation on Friday closed a 1984 anti-Sikh riots case against senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Jagdish Tytler, saying it was unable to find witnesses to support its charges against him. In its closure report filed before a court here, the CBI said that many of the witnesses were either dead or did not want to testify. The report also had the name of the late Congress MP, Dharam Das Shastri. Meanwhile, the probe agency filed a charge sheet in a related case in which one Suresh Kumar was accused of having incited a mob against the Sikhs. — PTI
